1st Bicester Sea Scout Troop
We are an extremely active troop offering water based activities alongside a 'traditional' scouting programme
All of the current leaders have grown up through the Group and now share their skills and knowledge with the young people today

Sailing and Kayaking
May - August
Throughout the summer season, 1st Bicester Sea Scouts meet at Greatmoor Sailing Lake and follow the RYA (Royal Yachting Association) and BCU (British Canoe Union) Paddlesport qualifications
​
Scouts will also get the opportunity to attend Sailing camps, and explore the waterways on weekend Kayaking trips

Scouting Skills
September - April
From Autumn through to Spring we take the opportunity to work on more traditional scouting activities, such as badge work, camping, hiking and much more
​
The troop run a programme to cover a variety of the Scout challenge, staged and activity badges
​
Every Scout has the opportunity to work towards their Chief Scouts Gold Award
